Job Description:
The position is overall responsible for financial audit, accounts reconciliation and
documentation of process for General Accounting.
Functions (Duties and Responsibilities):
Financial Audit:
Ensures timely and accurate completion of Audited Financial Statements.
Acts as the point person on the overall financial audit process (both internal and
external). Coordinates between the auditor and different departments.
Ensures timely and accurate submission of audit requirements, schedules, and
notes.
Reviews, analyzes, and investigates audit findings.
Coordinates, monitors, and ensures completion, execution, and implementation of
audit recommendation and action plans.
Elevate discussion of significant issues to General Accounting Head.
Accounts Reconciliation:
Oversee bank reconciliation process to ensure timely and accurate preparation.
Coordination of accounts reconciliation process and submission of reports from
different account owners.
Preparation and reconciliation of assigned accounts.
Ensures that internal controls are implemented.
Recommends process improvement and internal controls.
General Accounting:
Maintenance, updating and documentation of process flow, guidelines, standards,
and procedures.
Preparation of accurate journal entries.
Recommends improvement of process.
System Administration:
Maintenance of Sunsytem and XM
Forex set up in Sunsytem and Policy Administration
Projects and Ad Hoc
Participation in system migration.
Participation in system enhancements.
Other projects that may be assigned.
Job Skills And Qualifications:
Graduate of Bachelor of Science in Accountancy
Certified Public Accountant
At least 3-5 years professional experience, preferably in non-life insurance or in a
similar role.
Advance Excel capabilities. Knowledge in Word and Powerpoint
Knowledge in Sunsystem is a plus
Knowledge of non-life insurance.
Highly organized with attention to detail.
Ability to multitask, prioritize and deliver results on time under pressure.
Flexibility to meet continuously changing priorities and challenges.
Good written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
