Application Engineer

Summary:

We are hiring on behalf of a company who is looking for an Application Engineer to handle the deployment, configuration, and support of software applications.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate closely with the Product Owner, Business Analysts, and Software Engineers.
• Design, develop, and maintain well-structured solutions within the teams scope.
• Enhance and optimize existing functionalities.
• Develop and maintain product customizations and automated tests.
• Take ownership of your domain and ensure high-quality deliverables.
• Act as a subject matter expert, addressing requirement and solution gaps in specific areas.
• Ensure the technical architecture/solution aligns with Avaloq core concepts, blueprints, and best practices.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in computer science or a related field.
• Minimum 9 years of relevant software development experience.
• At least 3 years of hands-on experience with the Avaloq Banking Suite.
• Strong expertise in Avaloq Banking Suite implementation, including ACP functional knowledge and parameterization.
• Broad knowledge of Banking, Wealth Management, and Software Development.
• ACCP Certification is mandatory; ABR/S Certification/experience is a plus.
• Proficiency in Oracle (PL/SQL), database schema design, and web technologies.
• Solid understanding of object data modelling.
• A strong analytical mindset with the ability to work independently on complex technical and business challenges.
• Fluent in English.
