Job Description

The Tribe Delivery Lead is responsible for driving end-to-end delivery of high-impact technology solutions using Agile methodologies within the digital banking landscape. This role ensures that cross-functional teams are aligned and deliver products that meet business objectives and strategic goals while preserving the technology standards (infra, development and delivery processes). Key deliverables include overseeing the timely and quality delivery of projects, continuous improvement of Agile practices, and managing stakeholder expectations to maximize business value.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure the successful delivery of technology initiatives aligned with business needs within defined timelines and budget.
  • Facilitate collaboration across technology delivery squads, ensuring dependencies and risks are proactively managed.
  • Drive continuous improvement in Agile processes and foster a high-performance culture within the teams.
  • Oversee resource allocation across squads, ensuring optimal staffing and skill distribution.
  • Provide guidance to Product Owners, Scrum Masters, and delivery teams on best Agile practices.
  • Maintain transparency on project progress to senior leadership, identifying bottlenecks and implementing corrective actions.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory and security requirements in all technology deliveries.
  • Champion Agile transformation and culture within the technology department and across business functions.
  • Lead tribe-wide ceremonies such as tribe planning, retrospectives, and reviews to ensure alignment and continuous improvement.
  • Monitor the health and performance of squads, and take corrective actions when necessary
  • Collaborate with Business Product Owners to prioritize tribe backlog and roadmap, aligning delivery with business priorities.
  • Manage interdependencies between squads and external partners/vendors to ensure seamless delivery.
  • Track and report tribe delivery metrics, including velocity, quality, and risk management.
  • Engage with stakeholders to communicate progress, manage expectations, and address concerns.
  • Identify and remove blockers that impede squad progress.
  • Provide coaching and mentorship to leaders within the tribe, fostering talent development.

Requirements

  • Bachelors degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field. A masters degree or MBA is a plus.

Mandatory:

  • Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) or Professional Scrum Master (PSM)
  • SAFe Agilist or equivalent certification in scaled Agile frameworks

Desired certifications:

  • Certified Agile Leadership (CAL)
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) or PRINCE2 certification

Work experience:

  • 10+ years of experience in technology delivery, with at least 5 years in Agile environments.
  • Proven track record as a Delivery Lead, Program Manager, or equivalent in a digital banking or fintech setting.
  • Experience leading large cross-functional teams in complex technology environments.
  • Hands-on experience with scaled Agile frameworks (e.g., SAFe, LeSS) is preferred.

  • Data privacy, cybersecurity, and compliance standards in banking
