Role Summary:
The Manufacturing & Technical Training Department Head is responsible for management and improvement of technical training process and its courses for Operations and Support Functions. Administers the development of employee's skills by assessing the training needs, planning, designing, development and implementation of technical training programs/ customizing training programs. implementing various training methods, managing training budgets, adhering to training best practices. and for managing all phases of training intervent ions for manufacturing division. Continuously improves the technical training programs and ensures its effectiveness, its alignment to Business Performance and directions
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Formulate and execute the Manufacturing & Technical Training Plans and Programs that will support the business needs of the Manufacturing Operation.
- Coordinates training activities and initiatives in the whole organization.
- Oversee the training in all areas of manufacturing
- Research new training materials and supplies that might enhance our training procedures and provide value to our employees
- On-board new hires and assign them to training sessions.
- Identify future training needs and create curriculum to facilitate that training.
- Search for gaps in training material or content that should be filled to ensure safety and productivity among staff members.
- Communicate with the Business Units, Trainers and Management to ensure all needs are met.
- Ensuring strategic alignment of the training department with business goals.
- Evaluating individual and organizational performance to ensure training is meeting business needs and improving performance
- Identifying training needs by consulting with stakeholders and using needs assessments.
- Developing and delivering training solutions that meet business needs
- Optimizing training processes for efficiency.
- Selecting and managing resources, including working with both internal employees and training vendors to develop and deliver training.
- Managing the technologies and technical personnel required to develop, manage and deliver training.
- Design, develop and deliver technical programs/ curricula for technical topics.
- Analyze effectiveness of training programs and identify and implement solutions to maximize their success.
- Attend seminars and conferences to identify new industry trends and current training training techniques.
- Research, develop and update technical training materials of high professional standards.
- Implement applicable learning methodologies and techniques.
- Ensure that employees, are within the scope, are trained to an appropriate level
- Manage and maintain training database.
- Assess Trainers skills, talents, performance and productivity and prepare written evaluations with advice for improvement.
- Take accountability for the effectiveness of the integrated management systems in accordance with local and international standards the company subscribe.
- Ensure objectives and targets are measured and reported thru management review.
- Ensure personnel are competent on the basis of education, training, skills or experience.
- Identify, plan, implement and control operations and maintenance activities related to the management systems that are consistent with the company policies, objectives, targets and action plans.
- Ensure company policies, objectives, targets and action plans are carried out under specified conditions.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of the action plans in achieving objectives and targets.
- Engage, direct and support personnel to contribute to the effectiveness of the management systems.
- Communicate the importance of effective management system and complying with the requirements of international and local requirements.
- Ensure customer and applicable statutory and regulatory requirements are determined, understood and consistently met.
- Ensuring that the integrity of the quality management system is maintained when changes to the quality management system are planned and implemented.
- Communicate policies, objectives ad targets and plans to achieve objectives and targets.
- Ensure that externally provided processes, products and services conform to requirements.
- Performs other duties and responsibilities that may be assigned from time to time that support the organizations Mission, Vision, Objectives, Strategies and Core Values.
Qualifications:
- Minimum: A bachelor's degree in any field of Engineering or 4 years Technical Course
- Preferred: A bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, Mechanical Engineering, and Electronic and Communication Engineering.
- Minimum: With five (5) years or more related experience.
- Preferred: Experience in manufacturing operation
- Professional-level experience in developing curriculum, doing training and presentations, developing, implementing and evaluating training programs is required.

- Background in management systems such as, but not limited to, ISO standards, Good Manufacturing
- Practices, continuous improvement methods, etc. is an advantage.
- Willing to be assigned in Cabuyao, Laguna.
