Job Description
Summary:
We are hiring on behalf of a leading financial services company. Our client is seeking an AVP, Controllership Regulatory Reporting to support the Regulatory Reporting team in preparing various Federal Reserve and OCC reports in accordance with US GAAP and regulatory guidelines. These reports include, but are not limited to, schedules within FR 2900, FR Y-9C, FFIEC 031, FR Y-9LP, FR Y-11, FFIEC 009, FR Y-14Q, and FR Y-15.
Responsibilities:
- Support the preparation of daily/weekly/quarterly/annual regulatory reporting schedules, as required.
- Assist Regulatory Reporting team projects through managing accountability, responsibility, dashboard reporting, & tracking.
- Maintain appropriate job-aids, procedures and policies, as required.
- Support Quality Assurance, Internal audit and regulator inquiries and requests.
- Assist in Systems implementation and automation efforts Participate in process improvement projects and initiatives
- Perform other duties and/or special projects as assigned from time to time
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance and minimum 3 years accounting experience in Banking or Financial Services industry, or in lieu of a degree minimum 7 years of experience in the Banking or Financial Services industry
- Proficient use of financial systems (HFM, Hyperion databases & Oracle Financials Data Warehouse (OFDW)) and Microsoft Office (Excel)
- Regulatory Reporting experience
- Experience with Axiom ControllerView
- Strong US GAAP and Technical Accounting knowledge
- Previous experience in the Financial Services Industry
- Proficient use of Microsoft Office products, and systems and other analytical tools including Hyperion database, Oracle discoverer and Business Objects
- Strong communication, research, analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent organizational and follow-up skills
- Demonstrated leadership abilities in a team oriented environment
- Ability to lead multiple projects/priorities and drive each to completion
Work Setup:
- Shift Schedule: 6:00PM to 3:00AM PHT
- Work setup: Hybrid Once a month required onsite work to attend Connection Day; Day 1 is onsite for HR Day
- Location: The role is based in either Muntinlupa or Cebu
