DevOps Engineer

About the role

In this full-time position, you'll focus on automating build, infrastructure, and software configuration tasks, along with enhancing our continuous integration platform for multiple products.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain high-quality in-house software build systems for enterprise applications.
• Design automated pipelines for continuous client value delivery.
• Offer design guidance and mentorship to team members on best practices and DevOps principles.
• Establish and implement source code management practices.
• Create and maintain automated build and release scripts.
• Collaborate with project teams to advise management on risk mitigation strategies.
• Communicate effectively with software development and related teams to meet project goals.
• Contribute to improving standards and procedures for DevOps practices.
• Flexibility for after-hours release support is required.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering or any related course.
• 8 to 10 Years of Information Technology Experience
• 4 years of experience as a DevOps/SCM engineer
• Experience in building .NET applications
• Experience in deploying applications in a CD fashion (Azure DevOps, Octopus Deploy, Github Actions, etc.)
• Experience using a scripting language
• Proficiency in Windows operating system
• Solid understanding of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform or similar tools.
• Proficient in n-tier web application architecture.
• Knowledgeable in Desired State Configuration technologies such as DSC, Puppet, Chef, and SCCM/SMS.
• Familiar with change management systems and procedures.
• Understanding of continuous integration principles and the SDLC
• Well-versed in Continuous Delivery concepts.

Nice-to-have experience:

• Azure supporting IaaS and PaaS software implementations
• Cloud Native applications (Kubernetes, Docker) 
• Certifications: Microsoft Certified Azure Administrator and Microsoft Certified DevOps Engineer Expert
