Application Support (Mid- Senior)
The Application Support role involves providing technical assistance and troubleshooting for software applications, ensuring they function smoothly for end-users. This position requires a strong understanding of application functionality, effective problem-solving skills, and the ability to communicate technical information clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
- Lead smooth and quality-assured transition of application features from development to
production environments - Drive continuous improvement initiatives and optimization of business application service
operations - Lead the development of the Operations Enablement service catalogue to further improve
service delivery - Run/Lead small to mid-sized projects related to operations
Qualifications:
- Degree in technology, software engineering or related quantitative field
- At least 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in technology and/or financial
industry - Strong proficiency in SQL and Java
- Proficient in relational databases (SQL Server/PostgresDB)
- Experience in cloud services such as AWS (certification is a plus)
- Experience with incident and problem management
- Experience in programming languages is a must-have
- Proficiency with collaboration and project tools like Jira, Confluence
- Good understanding or have gained experience on at least one common Enterprise Agile
Framework (certification is a plus) - Proven ability to balance and prioritize multiple operations/projects at a time, while
maintaining sharp attention to detail - Knowledge about private markets would be an advantage
