Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Operations and Enterprise Risk & Business Continuity Management Officer to lead our efforts in identifying, assessing, and mitigating risks within our operations. This critical role is responsible for developing and implementing strategies to ensure business continuity and operational resilience, in alignment with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Risk Assessment: Conduct comprehensive risk assessments to identify potential operational, compliance, and strategic risks.
- Business Continuity Planning: Develop, implement, and regularly test business continuity and disaster recovery plans to ensure the resilience against disruptions.
- Policy Development: Collaborate with stakeholders to create and maintain risk management policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
- Monitoring and Reporting: Monitor risk indicators and performance metrics, producing regular reports for senior management and regulatory bodies.
- Crisis Management: Lead crisis management efforts during incidents, ensuring effective response and recovery in line with established plans.
- Training and Awareness: Conduct training sessions and workshops to promote risk awareness and business continuity practices across the organization.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Risk Management, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
- Minimum 4 years of experience in operations risk, business continuity management, or related fields, preferably in the retail banking industry.
- Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry standards related to risk management and business continuity.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively across departments and influence stakeholders at all levels.
