One of the Big Four global professional services firms is seeking a dedicated Operational Risk Management - Supervisor to join their team. You will be responsible for identifying, assessing, and mitigating operational risks for the firm's clients, ensuring strict compliance with regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate brings a solid understanding of operational processes and internal controls, with the ability to lead a team and maintain the highest standards of risk monitoring and reporting in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Identify and assess client operational risks using specialized techniques and tools, analyzing daily operations to determine risks from internal challenges or process breakdowns.
  • Support the development and refinement of operational risk management frameworks, policies, procedures, and internal controls.
  • Collaborate with other risk functions, including credit, market, and liquidity risk, to ensure a holistic and integrated approach to risk management.
  • Assist managers and partners in evaluating the effectiveness of operational risk controls and preparing comprehensive performance reports.
  • Conduct risk mapping and scenario analysis to proactively identify potential vulnerabilities within client operations.
  • Ensure all risk management activities align with current regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
  • Manage multiple client engagements simultaneously, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail across all deliverables.
  • Lead and train team members, building trust and managing performance to achieve departmental goals.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in Operational Risk Management, with a focus on internal controls and risk monitoring.
  • Proven background in operations management, finance, or compliance.
  • Proficient in risk assessment techniques, tools, risk mapping, and scenario analysis.
  • CFA, FRM, PRM certifications or a Master's Degree is considered a significant advantage.
  • High proficiency in English with excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Strong people management skills with the ability to build relationships and effectively train a team.
  • Proficiency in risk management software and the Microsoft Office suite.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively under pressure.
