Position Overview

The HR Manager will lead and oversee the human resources function from recruitment and employee relations to performance management, talent development, and compliance to ensure that the workforce is aligned with company strategy, culture and business goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee recruitment, onboarding, and workforce planning.

  • Implement performance management, training, and career development programs.

  • Manage HR policies, compliance with labor laws, and employee relations.

  • Administer compensation, benefits, and payroll processes.

  • Provide HR guidance to managers and employees; foster positive work culture.

  • Monitor HR metrics and support organizational development initiatives.


Qualifications:

1) Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field

2) HR certification (e.g., Professional in Human Resources, SHRM Senior Certified Professional) is preferred.

3)5+ years of progressive HR experience, including 2+ years in a manufacturing setting

4) Labor Law & Compliance: Deep understanding of local labor laws, occupational health and safety regulations

5) Workforce Planning: Managing shift schedules, staffing, and high-turnover challenges

6) Conflict Resolution: Skilled in handling grievances, disputes, and disciplinary actions

7) Health & Safety Awareness: Collaborating with safety officers to ensure compliance and training

8) Training & Development: Implementing skills development programs for factory workers

9) Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal skills for dealing with staff at all levels

10) Decision-Making: Able to make sound judgments quickly in a fast-paced environment

11) Technology Proficiency: Familiarity with HRIS systems and timekeeping software

Work Experience Required:

1) Hands-on experience across several core HR areas: Recruitment and staffing, employee relations, compensation and benefits, performance management, training and development, HR compliance and labor law

2) Leadership Experience such as leading HR teams or projects, mentoring or coaching subordinates, supervising specialists, or recruiters

3) Strategic Involvement like participating in or leading HR initiatives aligned with business goals (e.g., culture-building, DEI efforts, organizational change), contributing to or developing HR strategy, policies, or workforce planning

4) HR System and Policy Implementation - with HRIS systems, rolling out new HR policies or employee handbooks and supporting audits or compliance reporting.
