Financial Controller

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee all accounts, ledgers, and reporting systems ensuring compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles or International Financial Reporting Standards, as applicable.

• Manage and coordinate the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes, ensuring timely completion and accurate results.
• Prepare and publish timely monthly financial statements for internal management and external stakeholders.
• Coordinate the preparation of necessary documentation for external audits and regulatory examinations.

• Manage the annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting processes in coordination with department heads.
• Analyze financial data and present financial reports in an accurate and timely manner; clearly communicate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial performance.

Required Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.
• Certification: Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Chartered Accountant (CA) designation is a must.
• Experience: 12-15 years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a management or controller role.
• Technical Skills: Experience with Oracle Netsuite is a plus
• Experience with commissaries is a plus
