A cement manufacturing company is looking for a Warehouse Officer to plan and implement all warehousing and inventory activities, ensuring material availability and quality at the lowest possible cost while maintaining structural integrity, data accuracy, and strict adherence to safety and environmental standards.

Responsibilities:

  • Plan and implement all warehousing and inventory activities to guarantee material availability and quality while minimizing operational costs.
  • Lead periodic bulk materials surveys and conduct thorough root cause analysis to resolve inventory variances.
  • Validate and recommend material minimum-maximum stock levels and replenishment parameters to support overall equipment efficiency.
  • Create stock transfer orders and coordinate directly with forwarders and plant counterparts to ensure seamless material delivery.
  • Manage the disposal, monitoring, and reporting of company assets under the targeted asset reduction program.
  • Design and implement warehouse layouts to optimize available storage space and protect all inventory from damage, wastage, or pilferage.
  • Monitor stock health regularly to prevent item deterioration and eliminate system data inaccuracies.
  • Issue work orders for equipment repairs and manage requisitions for replacements to maintain the physical condition of the facility.
  • Ensure complete compliance with the integrated management system, health and safety protocols, and internal control standards for all audits.
  • Implement environmental policies within the warehouse to improve performance and contribute positively to nature and sustainability.
  • Identify specific training needs and implement developmental and safety-conscious programs for the warehousing staff.
  • Maintain the highest ethical standards and comply with all corporate information security rules to protect company resources.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in plant manufacturing, inventory management, or warehouse management.
  • Highly proficient in using data processing systems, ideally SAP.
  • Strong technical familiarity with manufacturing technology, machinery elements, and financial or controlling workflows.
  • Deep understanding of procurement practices and government legislation, including Bureau of Customs rules.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of health, safety, environmental rules, and information security directives.
