Position Summary

The Microsoft Fabric Architect / Consultant / Developer is responsible for designing, developing, and supporting enterprise modern data platforms using Microsoft Fabric. The role focuses on building scalable data pipelines, lakehouse/warehouse solutions, Power BI analytics, and governed data platforms. Depending on seniority, the position ranges from hands-on development to leading architecture, data strategy, and platform standards while collaborating with business, cloud, and security teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement end-to-end Microsoft Fabric solutions using OneLake, Lakehouse/Warehouse, Data Engineering, Data Factory, Data Science, Real-Time Analytics, and Power BI.
  • Build and optimize data ingestion, transformation, and analytics pipelines supporting batch, streaming, and near real-time processing.
  • Develop scalable lakehouse/warehouse data models and Power BI semantic models.
  • Ensure data quality, governance, lineage, metadata management, and security using Microsoft Purview and Fabric capabilities.
  • Monitor platform performance, optimize costs, manage deployments, and support operational excellence.
  • Work closely with business stakeholders, architects, analysts, and security teams to deliver scalable and governed analytics solutions.
  • Create technical documentation, runbooks, and establish best practices.

The ideal candidate is an experienced Microsoft Fabric specialist with deep expertise in building enterprise-scale modern data platforms. They have strong SQL, data engineering, and Power BI skills, understand governance and security best practices, and can deliver scalable analytics solutions. Senior candidates should also be capable of defining data architecture, platform strategy, and technical standards while mentoring teams and engaging with business stakeholders.
