Senior Procurement Functional Consultant (Ivalua / Oracle Procurement)

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Procurement Functional Consultant to lead the implementation and optimization of digital procurement solutions, with a strong focus on Ivalua and/or Oracle Procurement Cloud. The successful candidate will work closely with clients to transform procurement operations, gather business requirements, configure procurement solutions, and ensure successful project delivery from design through post-go-live support.

This is a client-facing consulting role requiring strong functional expertise in Source-to-Pay (S2P) and Procure-to-Pay (P2P) processes, stakeholder management, and enterprise procurement implementations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end implementation of procurement solutions using Ivalua and/or Oracle Procurement Cloud.
  • Conduct client discovery sessions, workshops, and requirement-gathering activities to understand business needs and define functional solutions.
  • Analyze and optimize procurement processes, ensuring alignment with industry best practices.
  • Configure procurement modules, workflows, approval hierarchies, and business rules based on client requirements.
  • Support implementation of procurement functions including:
    • Strategic Sourcing
    • Supplier Management
    • Contract Management
    • Requisitioning
    • Purchasing
    • Procure-to-Pay (P2P)
    • Source-to-Pay (S2P)
  • Collaborate with technical teams on system integrations with ERP platforms such as Oracle ERP, SAP, or other enterprise applications.
  • Support data migration, validation, cleansing, and testing activities during implementation projects.
  • Prepare functional specifications, solution design documents, test scripts, and user documentation.
  • Lead User Acceptance Testing (UAT), defect resolution, and production deployment activities.
  • Deliver end-user training, change management initiatives, and knowledge transfer sessions.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with client stakeholders while managing expectations throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Facilitate project meetings, provide implementation status updates, and proactively manage project risks and issues.
  • Design procurement dashboards, reports, and KPI metrics to support business performance.
  • Provide post-go-live support and continuous improvement recommendations.
  • Mentor junior consultants and contribute to practice development and knowledge sharing.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • At least 7–10 years of experience in Procurement, Supply Chain, or Procurement Technology Consulting.
  • Proven experience delivering end-to-end implementations of Ivalua, Oracle Procurement Cloud, or similar procurement platforms.
  • Strong understanding of Source-to-Pay (S2P) and Procure-to-Pay (P2P) business processes.
  • Experience conducting business process analysis, workshops, and solution design sessions.
  • Hands-on experience configuring procurement modules, approval workflows, and procurement policies.
  • Experience integrating procurement platforms with ERP systems such as Oracle ERP, SAP, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar solutions.
  • Experience in data migration, system testing, User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and production deployment.
  • Strong client-facing consulting experience with excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Experience working in implementation projects within industries such as manufacturing, retail, pharmaceuticals, consumer goods, logistics, or other enterprise environments.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage multiple project deliverables.
  • Excellent analytical, presentation, documentation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Willingness to travel based on project requirements.
