A leading global financial services and insurance provider is seeking a Manager of Operational Risk & Resilience Oversight (ORRO) to join its Independent Risk Management function. Serving as part of the second line of defense, this role provides independent oversight of policies, procedures, and standards concerning the measurement and reporting of risks. Reporting to the Head of ORRO Governance with a matrix line to the US Segment team, you will support the first line of defense to ensure operational risk management tools are effectively used to identify, assess, and monitor risks.

Responsibilities:

  • Actively participate in providing effective oversight and challenge over risk domains (Business Continuity, Third-Party Risk, or Change Risk) and governance activities (RCSA, Incidents, and End User Computing solutions).
  • Review and assess operational loss events and incidents, performing Root Cause Analysis (RCA) to ensure Corrective Action Plans (CAPs) are developed and implemented within strict deadlines.
  • Perform thematic reviews across businesses and segments to identify potential enterprise-level issues, evaluating gaps in existing controls and proposing actionable remediation plans.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field with
  • At least 3–5 solid years of experience in Operational Risk Management (ORM) or a BCM capacity.
  • Must have experience in Financial Services (Banking/Insurance/GWAM) with a strong background in RCSA, Control Testing, and Root Cause Analysis (RCA).
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills for stakeholder management, with preferred exposure to TPRM, Disaster Recovery (DR), or Incident Management.

Work Setup: Hybrid

Schedule: Night Shift (first 12 months) with potential transition to Mid-shift (Mon-Fri)
