Shift Quarry Engineer/ Quarry Supervisor

JOB SUMMARY
The Shift Quarry Engineer (SQE) is responsible for overseeing the technical and operational aspects of quarry activities during the assigned shift. The SQE ensures proper coordination with all relevant personnel, monitors equipment and processes, and resolves operational issues in real time.

The SQE ensures that the highest level of safety and environmental compliance is observed in the extraction of raw minerals, delivering the required quantity and quality for cement production in the most cost-efficient manner.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

- Ensure production targets are met by supervising and monitoring mine operations during the assigned shift.
- Ensure operational efficiency by monitoring and initiating activities to optimize the use of equipment and resources.
- Ensure efficiency of material extraction activities and equipment utilization.
- Ensure that mine service provider activities align with the mine development plan and operational needs.
- Ensure conformance of raw materials to quality standards and customer requirements.
- Ensure mine operations and activities are executed in accordance with the mine plan by correlating production schedules and operational procedures.
