Job Summary

CNS Group is looking for a proactive and organized Business Administrator to support the daily operations of our new Zanzibar office. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating administrative activities, managing front office operations, supporting recruitment processes, maintaining office records, and ensuring a professional working environment. This role is ideal for someone with strong organizational skills, excellent customer service, and the ability to manage multiple administrative responsibilities efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the day-to-day administrative operations of the Zanzibar office.
  • Serve as the first point of contact by welcoming visitors, clients, and candidates professionally.
  • Handle incoming calls, emails, correspondence, and general office inquiries.
  • Coordinate interview schedules, prepare interview forms, and maintain recruitment records.
  • Support recruitment activities by assisting with candidate registration and interview logistics.
  • Maintain office filing systems, employee records, and administrative documentation.
  • Ensure office supplies, stationery, and equipment are adequately stocked and maintained.
  • Coordinate meetings, appointments, travel arrangements, and office calendars.
  • Prepare reports, letters, presentations, and other administrative documents.
  • Monitor office cleanliness and coordinate with service providers to maintain a professional working environment.
  • Assist the Branch Manager with administrative tasks, reporting, and office coordination.
  • Ensure compliance with company administrative policies and procedures.
  • Provide general administrative support to all departments operating within the Zanzibar office.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Business Administration, Office Management, Human Resource Management, Public Administration, Secretarial Studies, or a related field.
  • Minimum 1–2 years of experience in office administration, reception, customer service, or administrative support.
  • Strong organizational, planning, and multitasking skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • High attention to detail, professionalism, and confidentiality.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Customer service experience will be an added advantage.
  • Applicants must be residents of Zanzibar.
