Waiter / Waitress (15 Positions) - Colosseum Hotel

Job Summary

Our client, a luxury hotel in Oysterbay Dar Es Salaam, is looking for 15 professional Waiters/Waitresses to deliver outstanding dining experiences by providing exceptional customer service, taking guest orders accurately, and ensuring food and beverages are served promptly and professionally.

Key Responsibilities

• Welcome guests warmly and escort them to their tables when required.
• Present menus and explain food and beverage options.
• Take customer orders accurately and communicate them to the kitchen.
• Serve food and beverages professionally and efficiently.
• Ensure guest satisfaction by responding promptly to requests and resolving concerns.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of dining areas before, during, and after service.
• Process guest bills and payments accurately when required.
• Follow hotel service standards and hygiene procedures at all times.
• Work closely with kitchen and restaurant teams to ensure smooth service.
• Perform any other duties assigned by the Restaurant Supervisor.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Certificate or Diploma in Hospitality, Food & Beverage Service, Hotel Management, or a related field.
• Minimum of 1–2 years of experience as a waiter/waitress in a hotel, restaurant, or resort.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Professional appearance and positive attitude.
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Good command of English; knowledge of additional languages is an added advantage.
• Willingness to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
• Previous experience in a luxury hotel is preferred.
