Job Summary

CNS Group is seeking an experienced Mining Supervisor to oversee daily mining operations in Madagascar. The role involves supervising mining crews, ensuring safety compliance, and maintaining production targets. The ideal candidate should have strong leadership skills and hands-on experience in mining environments. This opportunity is open to Tanzanian professionals willing to relocate.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise daily mining operations and workforce activities.
• Ensure production targets are met efficiently.
• Enforce safety standards and operational procedures.
• Monitor work progress and provide guidance to mining crews.
• Coordinate with engineering and operations teams.
• Identify and resolve operational issues on-site.
• Ensure proper use of equipment and resources.
• Maintain accurate records of daily activities and performance.
• Conduct safety briefings and toolbox talks.
• Support continuous improvement of mining operations.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Mining, Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in operations supervision (mining preferred, related industries considered).
• Strong knowledge of mining processes and site operations.
• Ability to enforce safety standards and procedures.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Ability to work under pressure in a demanding environment.
• Good communication and problem-solving skills.
• Fluency in English or French.
• Willingness to relocate to Madagascar.
