Job Summary
We are seeking a competent Accountant to support financial operations by maintaining accurate financial records, preparing reports, managing reconciliations, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate will contribute to efficient financial management and support business decision-making through accurate reporting and analysis.
Key Responsibilities
- Record and maintain accurate financial transactions in accordance with company policies and accounting standards.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports to support management decision-making.
- Perform bank reconciliations and ensure all financial records are accurate and up to date.
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable, ensuring timely processing of payments and collections.
- Assist in the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and financial analysis reports.
- Ensure compliance with tax regulations, statutory deductions, and other regulatory requirements.
- Process supplier invoices, employee reimbursements, and other financial transactions in a timely manner.
- Maintain proper filing and documentation of financial records for audit and compliance purposes.
- Support internal and external audits by preparing required schedules and supporting documents.
- Monitor cash flow, expenses, and financial performance to help identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate financial reporting and effective financial controls.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum 2–3 years of accounting experience.
- Experience working in a manufacturing environment is preferred.
- Knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong analytical and numerical skills.
- High level of integrity and attention to detail.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
