Job Summary

CNS Group is seeking a skilled Ball Mill Operator to support mineral processing operations in Madagascar. The role involves operating and monitoring ball mill circuits, ensuring optimal grind size and throughput, and working closely with the metallurgy team to maintain efficient plant performance. This opportunity is open to Tanzanian professionals willing to relocate.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor ball mill systems to ensure optimal performance.
• Control throughput, grind size, and media consumption.
• Monitor process parameters and respond to deviations.
• Work closely with metallurgists to optimize plant performance.
• Conduct routine checks and basic maintenance of equipment.
• Ensure proper recording of operational data and logs.
• Identify and report operational issues promptly.
• Maintain safety standards and follow operational procedures.
• Support continuous improvement of milling operations.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Diploma or relevant technical certification is preferred.
• 5+ years of experience in grinding/milling operations.
• Strong understanding of grinding processes and plant operations.
• Ability to monitor and adjust process parameters effectively.
• Experience working closely with metallurgical teams.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving ability.
• Ability to work under pressure in a production environment.
• Fluency in English or French.
• Willingness to relocate to Madagascar.
