Accounting Supervisor
Job Description:
Key Responsibilities
- Take full responsibility for preparing, reviewing, and coordinating the entire system of internal and external financial reports, including management reports, cost reports, periodic financial statements, and tax reports at both departmental and company levels.
- Perform monthly and annual closing activities, ensuring accuracy and compliance with IFRS and VAS.
- Organize and ensure timely submission of reports to government authorities such as the Tax Department, Department of Finance, and State Bank, in full compliance with legal regulations.
- Participate in tax inspections and audits; advise the Board of Management on tax risk mitigation, tax reassessments, and related legal matters.
- Control the internal control system; reconcile accounts receivable and payable; manage cash and bank transactions; and monitor general ledger accounts.
- Organize and ensure smooth operation of accounting functions, including purchasing and sales, import–export, revenue, expenses, fixed assets, AR/AP, payroll, and taxes.
- Train and develop accounting staff, supervise performance, provide feedback, and support continuous improvement of the departments performance and quality.
- Closely coordinate with related departments on finance and budgeting matters to ensure effective financial control across the company.
- Prepare annual budgets and financial forecasts; monitor and analyze variances between actual results and planned figures.
- Coordinate with independent auditors during the companys annual audit.
- Ensure timely submission of financial statements and internal reports to the Board of Directors and the Parent Company.
- Monitor cash flow and ensure sufficient working capital for production and business operations.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Board of Management.
Experience & Skill Requirements
- Bachelors degree or higher in Accounting, Auditing, or Finance.
- Chief Accountant Certificate is mandatory.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in an equivalent position within a manufacturing company.
- CPA or ACCA certification is an advantage.
- Strong knowledge of VAS, IFRS, taxation, tax regulations, and transfer pricing.
- Good understanding of ERP systems and process/system improvement.
- Knowledge of EPE (Export Processing Enterprise) management.
- Good command of English, both written and spoken.
- Strong leadership, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
