Job Purpose

To manage and optimize customs declaration operations, ensuring accurate, compliant, and timely declarations in accordance with applicable laws and regulations, thereby improving service quality and customer satisfaction.

Job Description

• Manage and supervise all customs declaration activities of the operations team.

• Guide and support team members to fully understand customs procedures and regulations.

• Coordinate with Customer Service, Logistics, and Sales departments to handle shipments and arising issues.

• Develop, monitor, and evaluate KPIs; conduct performance reviews and implement Performance Improvement Plans (PIP) when necessary.

• Control operational costs, minimize recurring errors, and mitigate operational risks.

• Develop, standardize, and continuously improve SOPs and operational procedures.

• Train, coach, and develop team members; plan and manage manpower resources.

• Act as a focal point for working with customers and partners when assigned.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

• On-time task completion: 95%

• Same-day handling of arising shipments: 90%

• Documentation/declaration error rate: <5%

• Documentation accuracy rate: 98%

• Late customs clearance rate: <5%

• Extra costs beyond budget: < VND 2,000,000 per quarter

• Customer Satisfaction (CSAT): 90% | Response time: 2 hours

Authorities & Responsibilities

• Assign tasks and allocate human resources within the customs declaration team.

• Propose recruitment, internal transfers, rewards, and disciplinary actions.

• Represent the customs declaration function in working with customers and partners when authorized.

• Participate in the evaluation of suppliers and agents.

Job Requirements

• Bachelors degree or higher in Economics, Foreign Trade, Logistics, Transportation, or related fields.

• Minimum 03 years of experience in a similar position.

• Strong knowledge of customs operations and customer service.

• Good leadership, management, problem-solving, and communication skills.

• Basic English proficiency; good command of Microsoft Office.
