POSITION: SALES LEADER

Location: Ho Chi Minh City

Department: Project & ODM Sales

Report to: Sales Manager / Country Manager

Industry: Electrical Equipment (MV/LV Switchgear, Busduct, MCC, Automation)

  1. Job Purpose

The Sales Leader is responsible for driving the sales performance of the Project (PRJ) and ODM teams, expanding market share in the Southern region, and building strong relationships with key stakeholders including investors, consultants, EPC contractors, and channel partners. This role requires strong technical understanding of electrical distribution systems and proven ability to lead a high-performing sales team.

2. Key Responsibilities

(A) Sales Leadership & Business Management

  • Lead, coach, and develop the PRJ/ODM sales team to achieve annual sales targets.
  • Build sales plans, forecast pipelines, and monitor team performance (KPI, productivity, conversion rate).
  • Identify new project opportunities and develop long-term growth strategies for the Southern market.

(B) Project Sales (MV/LV Products)

  • Promote MV/LV solutions including:
  • MV/LV Switchgear, MCC/MTR, Busduct, C-Box, Substation Solutions (S&S).
  • Engage with Owners, Consultants, M&E Contractors, Panel Makers, and EPCs to secure early specification (spec-in).
  • Prepare technical & commercial proposals; lead negotiations and contract finalization.
  • Manage full project sales cycle from opportunity identification to closing.

(C) TA Partner Management

  • Develop and manage TA (Technical Advisor) Partners to expand project opportunities.
  • Provide product training, market information, and technical support to TA partners.
  • Monitor performance and ensure alignment with company sales strategy.

(D) Channel & Distribution Development

  • Expand distribution channels for products such as C-Box, LV Consumer Electrical (S&S), and other LV items.
  • Identify new dealers/distributors and support sell-out/sell-in activities.
  • Track competitor pricing and build appropriate channel programs.

(E) ODM & Automation Support

  • Promote ODM solutions including LV ATS, Capacitor Bank, Oil Transformer, and customized products.
  • Collaborate with SI (System Integrator), Panel Makers, and Machine Builders for automation projects.
  • Coordinate with the internal technical team on solution design, quotation, and project implementation.

3. Requirements

Education: Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation, Mechatronics, or related field. (Preference: candidates with strong technical background in MV/LV systems.)

Experience

  • Minimum 57 years of experience in project sales, technical sales, or business development in the electrical industry.
  • At least 2 years in a team leader / supervisor capacity.
  • Strong network with: Owner, Consultant, EPC, Panel Maker, M&E Contractor.
  • Experience selling MV/LV switchgear, busduct, MCC, capacitor bank, transformer, or automation solutions is a strong advantage.

Skills

  • Strong leadership, people management, and coaching skills.
  • Excellent presentation & negotiation skills.
  • Deep understanding of electrical distribution, MV/LV systems, project tendering, and spec-in process.
  • Ability to manage complex project stakeholders.
  • Good English communication; Korean is a plus.
