Chief Accountant Cum Human Resources & GA Manager
Job Description:
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Chief Accountant Tasks:
1. Understanding of the logistics sector and international freight forwarding conditions, understanding of customer companies for EPE enterprises.
2. Managing and implementing tax policies:
- Ensuring compliance with regulations on value added tax (VAT), corporate income tax (CIT), personal income tax, FCT, QDMTT, TP and other legal regulations related to logistics service companies. Understanding and implementing VAT refunds.
Monitoring and updating changes in tax laws, especially preferential policies and additional obligations for other activities.
Coordinating with tax authorities to resolve related issues and ensuring full compliance.
3. Audit reports and internal controls:
- Experience from 05 to 07 years of experience working directly with big 4 auditing firms.
- IFRS implementation and monitoring:
Implement conversion and application of IFRS in accordance with the mandatory roadmap in Vietnam and foreign corporations.
Evaluate and adjust accounting policies to ensure consistency between IFRS and the actual operations of the company.
- Monthly management reports to the parent company.
4. Control input and output contracts according to the laws and regulations of the Korean parent company.
5. Build and improve the internal control system:
Enhance tax and accounting compliance through optimizing internal processes and policies.
Ensure transparency and efficiency in financial reporting.
6. Team leadership and development:
Manage accounting, tax and finance teams, ensure timely and effective completion of tasks.
Train and guide employees to improve skills and professional capacity.
7. Financial strategy consulting:
Advise the Board of Directors on tax and accounting impacts related to new business activities: develop financial regulations, salary regulations
Evaluate financial performance and tax risks of investment projects.
8. Coordinate with import-export department to process documents and provide guidance when there are changes in laws.
Human Resources & GA Manager Tasks:
1. Understanding of labor law, social insurance law for foreigners and Vietnamese:
Improve and amend the Company's labor regulations, salary regulations, salary regulations in accordance with current Vietnamese law and the general labor regulations of the parent company in Korea.
2. Manage and build good policies for Vietnamese and foreign employees:
- Handle insurance policies for Vietnamese
- Understand and handle operations related to foreign employees: work permits, visa extensions.
- Make labor contracts and liquidate labor contracts for employees.
- Report internal management and advise, report on salary increases and inflation annually to the board of directors.
3. Handling arising work for state agencies: labor management agencies, social insurance agencies, police
4. Recruitment: experienced in recruiting, evaluating capacity and implementing recruitment according to the requirements of each department and the requirements of the parent company in Korea.
5. Managing and controlling contracts and management costs:
- Managing office rental contracts and other management costs such as: car rental, taxi cards, stationery management.
REQUIREMENTS:
1. Education and certifications:
University degree or higher, majoring in Accounting, Auditing, Finance or related fields and having a chief accountant certificate
Priority is given to those with international certificates such as ACCA, CPA, CMA.
2. Work experience:
Minimum 7-10 years of experience in the field of accounting, auditing or tax.
Experience working at leading auditing firms or logistics enterprises is a plus
3. Professional knowledge:
Skills and experience in value added tax (VAT), corporate income tax (CIT), PIT, FCT, QDMTT, TP, tax refund
Understanding of the tax and financial legal system in Vietnam, including recent changes.
Knowledge of USGAAP, IFRS and international accounting regulations is preferred.
4. Skills:
Strategic thinking and problem solving ability.
Excellent communication, negotiation and team management skills.
Communicate in Korean, especially in financial reporting and working with tax authorities or international partners.
Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems (Oracle, etc.).
5. Personality and qualities:
Careful, honest and highly responsible.
Ability to work under pressure and promptly respond to requests from management agencies.
Willing to learn and update new knowledge about law and accounting.
