Chief Accountant

 Job Description:

Position: Chief Accountant

Salary Range: VND 30mil to 40 mil gross

Location: Bac Ninh

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Oversee, guide, and execute accounting tasks, including preparing vouchers, maintaining accounting records, generating financial statements, and filing tax reports in compliance with Vietnamese law and tax regulations.
  • Develop and implement an accounting information system, along with management accounting reports to support annual budgeting and other administrative needs.
  • Manage the accounting system, including accounting records, invoices, and business documentation.
  • Provide accurate accounting data and assist the Board of Directors in reviewing and analyzing expenses to draw appropriate conclusions and solutions.
  • Prepare and present financial statements, and provide records and data to explain to tax authorities, auditors (both internal and external), and banks as needed.
  • Manage the process for tax audits, VAT refunds (if applicable), and assume responsibility for VAT, FCWT, CIT, and PIT reporting.
  • Supervise, review, and assess the performance of accountants.
  • Organize the preservation and storage of accounting documents, ensuring the confidentiality of the companys financial records and data.
  • Collaborate with banks regarding banking transactions, loans, and related agreements.
  • Handle other financial responsibilities, such as managing project implementation deposits and submitting reports to the Department of Planning and Investment (DPI).

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field (higher qualifications are a plus).
  • CPA/ACCA certification is an advantage.
  • At least 5 years of experience working as a Chief Accountant, preferably in a foreign company (Japanese company or Vietnam-Japan joint venture,..) .
  • Proficiency in English (all four language skills).
  • Priority given to candidates living in Bac Ninh.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Proficient in computer use.
  • Quick to adapt and highly proactive.

Working Conditions:

- Working hours: 08h00 - 17h00 Monday- Saturday (Saturday working online)
