Sales Team Leader (Freight Forwarding)

 Job Description:

Position Information:

Location: Hai Phong

Department: Sales & Business Development

Reports to: Head of Sales / Branch Manager

Role Purpose:

The Sales Team Leader is the commercial owner of Hai Phong market, responsible for delivering both personal and team GP targets while building a sustainable customer portfolio in key manufacturing and export hubs.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Commercial Ownership

  • Own personal GP and volume targets.
  • Develop customers in Hai Phong port area, VSIP, Trang Due, Nomura, Deep C, and Quang Ninh.
  • Promote Ocean FCL/LCL, TP lane VN–USA, Air freight, Cross-border trucking, and customs services.
  • Convert spot quotations into regular monthly business.

2. Team Leadership & Coaching

  • Lead, coach, and monitor sales team performance.
  • Drive solution selling instead of rate-based selling.
  • Ensure proper SOP handover to operations.
  • Protect margin and enforce pricing discipline.

3. Performance Management

  • Manage sales pipeline and forecasting.
  • Conduct regular sales review meetings.
  • Build strong collaboration with pricing and operations teams.


Requirements:

  • 3–8 years of logistics sales experience in Hai Phong market.
  • Proven customer portfolio in manufacturing/export sectors.
  • Experience in VN–USA trade lane is a strong advantage.
  • Leadership capability with coaching mindset.
  • Data-driven and disciplined approach.
  • English working proficiency; Chinese is a plus.
