Vice-Director of Design (Hotels)

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and mentor the design team, fostering a culture of creativity, collaboration, and excellence.
• Oversee all design phases of construction projects, from conceptualization to completion, ensuring they meet client requirements, regulatory standards, timelines, and budgets.
• Develop and implement cutting-edge design concepts for high-rise buildings, hotels, and resorts, ensuring functionality and aesthetic appeal.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including architects, engineers, contractors, and clients, to ensure cohesive and integrated project execution.
• Maintain and enforce high standards of design quality and consistency across all projects.
• Participate in strategic planning and contribute to the overall vision and direction of the company's design initiatives.
• Manage project budgets, optimize resource allocation, and ensure cost-effective design solutions.
• Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in design and construction to continually enhance the company's design capabilities.
• Experienced in planning and managing large scale projects (>50ha) such as new urban areas, resorts, etc...
• Other tasks as assigned by the company executives

Qualifications:

• At least 15 years of experience in design management for 5-star international standard hotels or resorts.
• Experienced in design at foreign design consulting firms or in design management at enterprises as an investor.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills.
• Bachelors or Masters degree in Architecture, Interior Design, Structural Engineering, or a related field.
• Expertise in design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Proven leadership and team management skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
