Chief Accountant (Hai Phong)

 Job Description:

Position: Chief Accountant

Salary range: VND 40,000,000 – 50,000,000 (Gross)

I. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Organize, manage, and supervise all activities of the Accounting Department.
  • Establish, maintain, and control the accounting system, accounting books, vouchers, and financial reports in compliance with current regulations.
  • Review and control accounting entries and ensure all transactions are recorded accurately in accordance with Vietnamese Accounting Standards and relevant laws.
  • Check and reconcile detailed and general accounting data; ensure ending balances are accurate and consistent with supporting reports.
  • Manage cash flow, receivables and payables, fixed assets, inventory, and production costs.
  • Prepare Financial Statements (FS) and Management Reports in compliance with legal requirements and management requests.
  • Control product costing, cost allocation, and evaluate operational efficiency of each department.
  • Coordinate with related departments to develop annual budgets and financial–tax plans.
  • Work proactively with banks, auditors, and government authorities; provide necessary documents and explanations when required.
  • Ensure proper storage and management of accounting data and records.
  • Lead, manage, and develop a team of approximately 12 team leaders and accounting staff.
II. JOB REQUIREMENTS
1. General Requirements
  • Gender: Female
  • Age: 32 – 45
2. Education
  • Bachelors degree or higher in Accounting, Finance, or related fields.
3. Experience
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in financial accounting.
  • Strong professional accounting expertise with solid analytical and decision-making skills.
  • Thorough knowledge of Vietnamese tax regulations (VAT, CIT, FCT, PIT) and Accounting Law.
  • Preferred experience:

    • Working in foreign-invested companies, especially in manufacturing industries.
    • Experience using Oracle ERP or similar enterprise management systems.
4. Skills & Competencies
  • Good communication skills in English.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), accounting software, and ERP systems.
  • High integrity, attention to detail, and strong sense of responsibility.
  • Ability to work under pressure and willingness to work overtime when required.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
