Since starting in Perth in 2012, CMW Geosciences has expanded to 22 offices with over 300 employees across Australia and New Zealand. We are hard-working, down-to-earth, and passionate engineers and geologists who provide quality geotechnical site investigation, analysis, and design advice to the construction infrastructure and energy sectors.

As an undergraduate at CMW Geosciences, you'll be treated like an industry professional from the get-go. After completing the necessary training and inductions, you'll go out in the field to learn the practical field skills that form the basis of the technical work we do. You'll have access to senior technical staff to guide you through the early stages of your career and fast-track your growth. You'll be exposed to the full project lifecycle to start to prepare you for a career from day one. Unlike larger organizations, you won't be siloed into one stream of the business or handed low-responsibility tasks. You'll be learning technical, practical and project related skills.

Our Adelaide office in Tonsley is looking to bring on a student in a full-time capacity for a period of time. Preferably, you will have a semester of your studies that is dedicated to industry placement.

This is a paid internship.

What You'll Need

To be studying towards a Civil Engineering, Geology or Earth Science Degree

Ability to complete strenuous fieldwork tasks

Ability to travel when required

A full New Zealand or Australian drivers license

A desire to work outside with a love of rocks, soil and geology

Good interpersonal skills

Exceptional organisation and communication skills, both verbal and written
