Project Geotechnical Engineer / Engineering Geologist

Since starting in Perth in 2012, CMW Geosciences has expanded to 18 offices with over 300 employees across Australia and New Zealand. We are hard-working, down-to-earth, and passionate engineers and geologists who provide quality geotechnical site investigation, analysis, and design advice to the construction infrastructure and energy sectors.

We are looking to bring on a Project Geotechnical Engineer / Engineering Geologist for an intermediate role or a senior position, subject to experience.

The South Auckland office is an established team of 10 who works closely with our North Auckland, Hamilton and Tauranga teams. As well as belonging to our New Zealand business, you'll have the support and backing of a larger international company - all invested in the same goal of fostering an energised workforce that delivers exceptional geotechnical advice.

What You'll Need

• A Civil Engineering, Geology or Earth Science Degree
• 5-10 years' experience in a geotechnical consultancy with demonstrated experience in site investigation and geotechnical consulting projects
• At least 2 years' experience in New Zealand 
• A full New Zealand drivers license
• Good interpersonal skills
• Exceptional organisation and communication skills, both verbal and written
