Geotechnical Engineer / Engineering Geologist

Since starting in Perth in 2012, CMW Geosciences has expanded to 18 offices with over 300 employees across Australia and New Zealand. We are hard-working, down-to-earth, and passionate engineers and geologists who provide quality geotechnical site investigation, analysis, and design advice to the construction infrastructure and energy sectors.

Our Melbourne office is relocating to a new space in St Kilda and we a looking for a junior/mid level geotechnical professional to join our busy team. The role will be both site and office based with the flexibity to travel when required. 

What You'll Need

• A Civil Engineering, Geology or Earth Science Degree
• 2+ years experience working in a geotechnical consultancy carrying out fieldwork tasks
• Valid full-time working rights in Australia
• We would prefer someone who is currently Melbourne based and has experience working with the Victoria geology.
• Ability to travel when required
• A full Australian drivers license
• A desire to work outside with a love of rocks, soil and geology
• Good interpersonal skills
• Exceptional organisation and communication skills, both verbal and written
