CMW is a trans-Tasman Geotechnical Consultancy with 18 offices and over 300 employees throughout Australia and New Zealand. Our projects cover construction and civil engineering from larger long-term national roading projects to smaller residential developments.

CMW has maintained year on year growth since establishing in 2012 and the Brisbane office is looking to bring on an Administrator / Accounts Officer as part of the wider administration team.

The Brisbane office is an established team in Albion who invest heavily in building a connected and supportive team. As well as belonging to a close knit team, you'll have the support and backing of a larger international company - all invested in the same goal of fostering an energised workforce that delivers exceptional geotechnical advice.

This role requires an applicant who has a strong background in an accounts/finance role. You must have a high attention to detail and be confident working quickly and efficiently. Wider administration experience would also be valuable.

Responsibilities

  • Timely processing of monthly accounts, reporting & reconciliations
  • Effective maintenance and administration of a range of office systems such as the Health & Safety System and Quality System in conjunction with the Office Manager
  • Efficient running of the office including supplies, mail, calls and messages, couriers, photocopying, binding and general office maintenance
  • Accurate documentation of key meetings such as audits, health and safety meetings and team meetings
  • Organisation of key communications and events for staff

Qualification/Experience

  • Previous experience working within a professional services office environment and on quality systems.
  • Experience with accounts and invoicing
  • relevant certificate or book-keeping qualification
  • MYOB experience preferred
