Since starting in Perth in 2012, CMW Geosciences has expanded to 18 offices with over 300 employees across Australia and New Zealand. We are hard-working, down-to-earth, and passionate engineers and geologists who provide quality geotechnical site investigation, analysis, and design advice to the construction infrastructure and energy sectors.

We are looking to bring on a motivated and hands-on Geotechnical Engineer with at least two years of site experience to join our busy team in North Ryde, Sydney. This is a fantastic opportunity to grow your career in a supportive environment, working on meaningful infrastructure, transmission and renewable energy projects that help you develop into a well-rounded Geotechnical Engineer.

What We're Looking for

To be successful in this role you must have,

  • A Civil Engineering, Geology or Earth Science Degree
  • A minimum of 2 years experience as a Geotechnical Engineer in a consultancy setting
  • Full Australian working rights, preferably citizenship or residency
  • Experience working in New South Wales is strongly preferred
  • Strong experience working onsite, problem-solving, and communicating with clients and contractors.
  • Previous exposure to proposal preparation and technical report writing
  • A full Australian drivers license
  • Ability to travel to and work in regional NSW as required
  • Good interpersonal skills
  • Exceptional organisation and communication skills, both verbal and written
