Since starting in Perth in 2012, CMW Geosciences has expanded to 18 offices with over 300 employees across Australia and New Zealand. We are hard-working, down-to-earth, and passionate engineers and geologists who provide quality geotechnical site investigation, analysis, and design advice to the construction infrastructure and energy sectors.

We are currently looking for an experienced Geotechnical Engineer with 6-15 years of experience working in a geotechnical consultancy. Specifically, our team is looking for an Engineer who can provide analysis, design, and technical advice for our clients in the residential, infrastructure and energy space. Our team of 25 includes two Principal Geotechnical Engineers, and you'll have the ability to work with them closely on a regular basis.

Our team is well-established in the Bay of Plenty region with a secondary office in Rotorua and Napier. This position offers fantastic career progression and can be based out of our Tauranga or Rotorua office. Relocation assistance is available for the right candidate.

What You'll Need

• A Civil Engineering, Geology or Earth Science Degree
• Minimum of 6 years of experience in a geotechnical consultancy
• At least 2 years of experience in New Zealand (preferred)
• A full New Zealand drivers license
• Good interpersonal skills
• Exceptional organisation and communication skills, both verbal and written
