About the role
Our Brisbane office is seeking an experienced Senior HR Business Partner to work closely with General Managers and Office Managers across a wide range of HR functions, including employee relations, talent management, and employee engagement initiatives.
This role will report into the KIWAs HR Lead Australia and New Zealand, and will be part of a the broader CMW HR team.
Responsibilities
- Supporting managers with key employee relations issues, including investigations, performance management, disciplinary processes, terminations and manager coaching.
- Guide and support managers through the annual performance management cycle including, manager education, employee communication and close out of performance reviews.
- Support KIWAs annual employee engagement process including, manager communication, preparation of data, action planning and support of action plan follow ups.
- Working with areas of higher support needs on retention and engagement activities unique to those areas.
What You'll Need
- Qualification in HR/IR
- Strong knowledge and understanding of Australian legalisation and awards system.
- Strong generalist HR background with 6+ years experience in a similar role
- Experience working in professional services
- Ability to form strong relationships across leaders, employees and other support services.
- Strong organisational skills with high attention to detail.
- Ensuring a high level of confidentiality.
- Experience undertaking a variety of talent management initiatives from idea to initiation, to implementation
- Knowledge of NZ employment legalization advantageous but not essential
