Transport & Warehouse Manager - Beverage

About the Company

Our client is an Albanian producer of mineral and vitamin water, operating a modern production facility. The company manages distribution across Albania and handles a significant export volume (around 60% of total shipments), operating in synergy with major international partners in the beverage sector.

The Role

We are looking for a Transport & Warehouse Manager to build and lead the logistics function from the ground up. This is a greenfield role: no logistics structure currently exists, and the person hired will be responsible for designing and implementing it entirely. The role reports to the Production Manager.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement the company's logistics strategy from scratch
• Manage relationships with 3 external warehouses (rented and operated by third-party providers)
• Oversee a network of 5 freight forwarders, with a focus on road transport (approx. 90% by truck) and sea freight
• Coordinate export shipments, which represent approximately 60% of total volumes
• Manage a team of warehouse staff and forklift operators (7–8 people total)
• Drive investment decisions on new logistics infrastructure and flows
• Optimize transport operations across a portfolio of approximately 30 SKUs

Candidate Profile

• Minimum 5 years of solid, hands-on experience in a logistics management role
• Background in FMCG is essential
• Strong expertise in transport management (road and sea); this is the most critical area
• Experience managing third-party logistics providers and external warehouses
• Familiarity with export logistics and international freight
• Albanian nationality required
• Willingness to be present at the production site approximately 30–40% of the time
