Principal Test Engineer- Automation + Manual

We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Principal Test Engineer to join our dynamic team. As a Principal Test Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software projects through both automation and manual testing.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead and manage a team of test engineers, providing guidance and mentoring to ensure high-quality testing practices

- Develop and implement automated test scripts for both web and mobile applications

- Conduct manual testing to identify bugs, defects, and other issues

- Create and execute test plans and test cases to ensure comprehensive coverage of software features and functionality

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and troubleshoot issues, and provide recommendations for improvements

- Continuously evaluate and improve testing processes and strategies

- Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and new testing technologies to enhance the overall testing process

- Communicate test results and progress to stakeholders, including project managers and developers

- Provide technical support and assistance to team members as needed

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field

- Minimum of 5 years of experience in software testing, with at least 3 years in a team lead role.

- Strong knowledge of automation testing tools and frameworks (e.g. Selenium, Appium, Cucumber)

- Proficient in manual testing techniques and methodologies

- Experience with Agile/Scrum development methodologies

- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to work independently and in a team environment

- Detail-oriented and able to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively

- Experience with performance and security testing is a plus
