About the job Project Manager (Construction)
Job Purpose
This position plays a crucial role in driving the companys growth through the strategic expansion of online kitchens and retail locations. The responsibilities include overseeing site development, conducting thorough site assessments, ensuring timely project completion, and maintaining full compliance with local government regulations. The role also involves managing contractor selection, negotiating contracts, preparing budget estimates, and proactively forecasting and addressing potential repair and maintenance issues prior to site turnover, effectively minimizing future costs and ensuring long-term operational sustainability.
Main Duties
Kitchen, Retail, and Other Site Expansions:
Site Evaluation Assistance: Collaborate in evaluating newly selected sites for online kitchens and retail stores, taking into account factors such as existing space conditions, utility availability, Lessor requirements for move-in, pre-opening conditions, and LGU permit requirements.
Budget Preparation: Review and prepare budgetary estimates for upcoming online kitchens and retail stores, considering the required site works while ensuring adherence to the companys quality standards and compliance with LGU regulations.
Contractor Selection and Evaluation: Assist in expanding the pool of contractors, ensuring they have the necessary capabilities and expertise to handle their respective trade works.
Contract Negotiation: Manage the evaluation and negotiation of contractor proposals, ensuring strict adherence to the approved budget.
Project Management: Oversee the end-to-end project management of online kitchen and retail store expansions, ensuring that timelines, budgets, stakeholder updates, and quality standards are consistently met.
Initiative and Decision Making: Proactively identify potential issues or concerns that could impact the overall project status, and demonstrate the ability to make informed decisions and initiate resolutions without compromising the project timeline or budget.
Compliance: Contribute to ensuring that all new online kitchens, retail stores, and other sites comply with local regulations, health and safety standards, and other relevant requirements.
Repair and Maintenance: Collaborate to ensure that new online kitchens and retail stores undergo a thorough quality assessment prior to turnover, effectively minimizing early repair and maintenance issues to reduce future cost implications.
