Cost Control Officer

Job Purpose

The Finance Officer for Cost & System manages the end-to-end financial data, mainly those impacting food cost and kitchen/central operation processes. He or she ensures accurate financial data in Netsuite (system), generates management reports, and partners with kitchen and central operations. He or she also performs simple analyses and provides support to the Senior Finance Manager and Finance Manager for various business needs.

The Finance Officer for Cost & System reports directly to the Finance Manager.

Main Duties

Management Reports and Closing Tasks

• Consolidates data and generates weekly and monthly COGS, Supplies, and Packaging Reports for review of the Finance Manager;
• Creates various reports and templates such as the Weekly Count Sheet, Weekly Price Simulation, and other reports as deemed necessary by the Senior Finance Manager, Finance Director, and management;
• Supports the Cost Control Team during month-end closing.

Guardian of Data Integrity

• Ensures the financial accuracy of all financial data impacting inventory (food, supplies, and packaging);
• Spearheads and executes the data clean-up of transactions impacting inventory in NetSuite in collaboration with Purchasing, PD, Kitchen and Central Operations;
• Recommends ways on how to improve data flows and processes.

Netsuite Support

• Supports the Senior Finance Manager and Finance Manager in the establishment of Netsuite modules and projects;
• Oversees the data integrity of Netsuite transactions and coordinates with various teams to confirm transaction and perform necessary corrections;
