About the job UI/UX Designer (Part-Time Contractor)

About Cloudcure

Cloudcure is a telehealth startup transforming weight management through GLP-1 therapy and personalized digital care. We connect patients with licensed healthcare providers for virtual consultations, lab monitoring, and ongoing support. We're growing fast and looking for a talented UI/UX designer to help shape the patient and provider experience on our platform.

The Role

We're looking for a part-time UI/UX designer to own the design of our patient-facing platform, pages and internal tools. You'll work closely with our product and engineering to improve the end-to-end experience, from patient onboarding to ongoing care. This is a contractor position at 10-20 hours per week, fully remote.

What You'll Do

  • Design and iterate on user flows, wireframes, and high-fidelity mockups for the Cloudcure platform
  • Improve the patient onboarding experience (signup, eligibility screening, lab requisition delivery, consultation booking)
  • Design provider-facing tools (patient dashboards, lab results review, care management)
  • Conduct UX audits of existing flows and identify usability improvements
  • Create and maintain a consistent design system (components, typography, color, spacing)
  • Collaborate with engineering to ensure designs are implemented accurately
  • Contribute to product decisions with user-centered thinking

What We're Looking For

  • 3+ years of experience in UI/UX design for web applications
  • Strong portfolio showing end-to-end product design work (not just visual/marketing design)
  • Proficiency in Figma
  • Experience designing for healthcare, telehealth, or regulated industries is a strong plus
  • Understanding of accessibility standards and responsive design
  • Comfortable working asynchronously with a small, distributed team
  • Ability to move fast, prioritize independently, and ship iteratively

Nice to Have

  • Experience with design systems at an early-stage startup
  • Familiarity with patient-facing health platforms or EMR/EHR workflows
  • Basic understanding of front-end development (HTML/CSS) to communicate effectively with engineers

  •
