About the job Helpdesk Support / System Administrator
We are looking for a Helpdesk / System Administrator with ability, attitude and drive. This is an exciting and diverse role will see you supporting and maintaining the complex IT infrastructure. At this level you will be responsible for high level support as well as project delivery and some design work. We require a candidate with a consultative approach and solutions focus in the IT systems space.
This role is in a Microsoft focused environment supporting end users, so you will be required to have hands on working knowledge with MS products, Active directory, Exchange, SQL server etc. We seek candidates with a knowledge or hands of networking experience (LAN/WAN, switching, routing, firewalls etc). This is a team environment and one where you will be actively working with academic staff and students, so we expect strong communication skills and a high level of professionalism.
