Job Overview:
The company is looking for a confident, self-starter who appreciates anything inbound, but understands outbound activity is required in this role. They can pick up on new systems quickly, thrive in ambiguity, and enjoy creating relationships with client. They are looking for opportunities to further their sales career by making an impact in this role and enjoy working with different personalities throughout their day. They have a proven track record of leading by example with their own sales results and are willing to travel.
They can start immediately or have 30 days of notice period.
Role Description:
As Business Development Associate they will be engaging and networking with a variety of partners across different categories. They'll be setting up inbound leads for demos and executing outreach campaigns to target specific types of prospective partners. Their responsibilities will include prospecting using all the latest tools (as well as old favorites!) like calls, emails and LinkedIn. They will be attending industry events and keeping up to date with market challenges, opportunities and news
Job Responsibilities:
- Identify new prospects that help the company grow revenue, users and content opportunities
- Maintain a high volume of outreach to potential partners and maintain a healthy and active pipeline
- Participate in strategic outreach campaigns, targeting highly segmented categories. Develop and organizes new business development initiatives
- Learn and understand our customers' unique situations, establishing if the company is of value to them.
- Contribute to market intelligence, team learning and coaching.
- Work with other internal teams on strategic projects in line with company initiatives or new areas of growth.
- Keep up to date on the latest capabilities internally and market changes externally.
Mandatory Requirements:
- B2B sales experience
- Extensive knowledge of sales principles and practices
- Experience with managing deals and pipelines in sales CRMs
Desired Requirements:
- Proven track record of leading by example with your own sales results
- Have demonstrable cold call, prospecting, networking, lead and pipeline management experience.
- Ability to coach others on sales principles and practices
Qualities:
- Confident on the phone and in person with new people
- Self starter
