Job Overview:
The Service Sales Engineer will be responsible for identifying and pursuing sales opportunities for technical services, including maintenance, repair, and upgrades. This role combines technical acumen with sales skills to understand client needs, recommend appropriate services, and close deals. The ideal candidate has a strong engineering background and a proven track record in service sales.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Sales Prospecting & Lead Generation: Identify and pursue new clients, manage existing accounts, and create a robust sales pipeline for service offerings.
- Technical Consultation: Conduct on-site or remote consultations with clients to understand technical requirements and provide tailored service solutions.
- Proposal Development: Prepare and present proposals, cost estimates, and technical solutions that address client needs and provide value.
- Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong client relationships to encourage repeat business and referrals.
- Sales Targets & Reporting: Meet and exceed sales targets for service contracts, and provide regular reporting on sales activities, pipeline, and forecast.
- Collaboration: Work closely with technical teams, project managers, and customer service teams to ensure smooth project delivery and client satisfaction.
- Market & Industry Insight: Stay updated on industry trends, competitor offerings, and potential service opportunities to enhance sales strategies.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or related field preferred).
- 2-5 years of experience in technical sales or service sales
- Strong understanding of technical services, maintenance, and repair solutions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical clients.
- Proficiency in CRM tools and Microsoft Office Suite.
