Job Overview: 

As a Service Desk Trainee, you will gain structured training on IT support operations. You will assist in providing first-level technical support to users, managing hardware, software, and network-related issues, while learning to solve common IT challenges.

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Respond to service desk tickets, troubleshooting software, hardware, and network problems. 
  • Learn to prioritize and resolve common IT issues such as printer errors, connectivity problems, and software installation issues.
  • Help with setting up workstations, laptops, and other peripherals.
  • Assist in monitoring and managing basic network operations.
  • Document incidents and resolutions in the service desk system and ensure user satisfaction with timely responses. 

Requirements: 

  • Basic knowledge of operating systems (Windows, Mac OS) and common software. 
  • Familiarity with networking concepts such as IP addressing, DNS, and DHCP. 
  • Strong communication and customer service skills. 
  • Eagerness to learn and develop technical problem-solving abilities. 
  • A degree In progress in computer science, IT, or a related field.
