Job Overview:
The Copy Editor will be responsible for reviewing and refining content across various formats, including articles, blog posts, marketing materials, and social media. This role requires a strong attention to detail, excellent grammar and language skills, and the ability to maintain consistency in style and tone throughout all content.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Editing and Proofreading: Review and edit content for clarity, grammar, punctuation, spelling, and style, ensuring high-quality output that adheres to company standards
- Style Consistency: Ensure that all content maintains a consistent voice and style in accordance with the brand's guidelines and industry standards
- Fact-Checking: Verify the accuracy of facts and data included in the content to uphold the credibility and reliability of the information
- Collaboration: Work closely with writers and content creators to provide constructive feedback, helping them improve their writing skills and enhance content quality
- Content Formatting: Prepare content for publication by formatting it according to specified guidelines and ensuring that all elements are correctly displayed
- Deadline Management: Manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively to meet tight deadlines without compromising quality.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in English, Communications, Journalism, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- 2+ years of experience in copy editing or proofreading, preferably in a digital or publishing environment
- Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills with a strong attention to detail
- Familiarity with style guides (e.g., AP, Chicago Manual of Style) and content management systems
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to provide clear and actionable feedback
