Job Overview:
The SEO Content Editor will be responsible for editing, optimizing, and strategizing content to improve its visibility and ranking on search engines. This role combines strong editorial skills with a deep understanding of SEO principles, ensuring that all content meets our quality standards while effectively reaching our target audience.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Content Editing: Review and edit articles, blogs, web pages, and other content types for clarity, grammar, and style while ensuring adherence to the brand voice.
- SEO Optimization: Implement SEO best practices, including keyword research, on-page optimization, and meta description writing, to improve search engine rankings and organic traffic.
- Content Strategy: Collaborate with content creators to develop and refine content strategies based on keyword research, audience insights, and industry trends.
- Performance Tracking: Analyze content performance metrics using tools like Google Analytics and SEO software to assess effectiveness and make data-driven recommendations for improvements.
- Fact-Checking: Ensure accuracy and credibility by verifying information, statistics, and sources used in content.
- Collaboration: Work closely with writers, marketers, and designers to provide constructive feedback and guide them in creating SEO-friendly content.
- Staying Updated: Keep abreast of the latest SEO trends, algorithm updates, and best practices to continually enhance our content strategies.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 3+ years of experience in content editing with a strong focus on SEO, preferably in a digital marketing environment.
- Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills with a strong attention to detail.
- In-depth knowledge of SEO principles, tools (e.g., Google Analytics, SEMrush, Moz), and content management systems (CMS).
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make strategic recommendations.
