KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Data Validation: Review and validate technical data for accuracy and completeness, ensuring adherence to quality standards and guidelines.
  • Editing and Formatting: Edit and format technical documents, reports, and datasets to ensure clarity, consistency, and professional presentation.
  • Quality Assurance: Implement quality control processes to identify and correct data discrepancies, inconsistencies, and errors.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with data analysts, engineers, and subject matter experts to gather information and provide feedback on data-related projects.
  • Documentation: Create and maintain documentation related to data management processes, including data dictionaries, style guides, and best practices.
  • Research: Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in data management and editing technologies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 2+ years of experience in data editing, data management, or technical writing, preferably in a data-focused environment.
  • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and a methodical approach to problem-solving.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly.
  • Proficiency in data management tools and software (e.g., SQL, Excel, data visualization tools).
