This role requires a strategic leader who can build brands, create demand, drive user acquisition, generate revenue opportunities, establish strategic partnerships and position Cloud Counselage as a category-defining company in the future of work, workforce infrastructure, and AI-powered execution.

Idea is to not see them as our customers but our future workforce of a million+ people, that we can take into the IT industry to capture 1% of then $500 Bn industry by 2030, in turn to making us a $5 Bn company in the next 5 years.

RESPONSIBILITIES

A. Chief Marketing Officer (CMO)
Brand Strategy & Positioning

  • Develop and execute the global brand strategy for Cloud Counselage, Industry Academia Community (IAC), Dolphin Tank India, and associated initiatives.
  • Establish and strengthen the company's positioning as a leader in WorkforceTech, AI-powered execution, employability, consulting, and entrepreneurship ecosystems.
  • Drive thought leadership, PR, media relations, and industry visibility initiatives.

Growth Marketing & Demand Generation

  • Design and implement scalable B2B, B2C, B2B2Cย growth strategies.
  • Lead user acquisition, engagement, retention, and community growth initiatives.
  • Develop and optimise multi-channel marketing campaigns across digital, social media, content, influencer, community, and partner ecosystems.
  • Build marketing funnels and performance-driven growth engines to support business objectives.

Digital & Community Marketing

  • Drive social media growth, engagement, and brand advocacy across global platforms.
  • Build and nurture online and offline communities of professionals, students, founders, investors, mentors, and industry leaders.
  • Leverage marketing automation, AI tools, analytics, and data-driven decision-making to improve marketing effectiveness.

Product & Go-To-Market Strategy

  • Collaborate with product, technology, and business teams on go-to-market strategies.
  • Lead product positioning, messaging, launch campaigns, and market expansion initiatives.
  • Gather market intelligence, customer insights, and competitive intelligence to inform strategic decisions.


B. Business Growth & Strategic Partnerships

  • ๏ปฟBuild and manage strategic partnerships with colleges, universities and academic institutions to drive enrolments for Cloud Counselage's employability programs.
  • Develop relationships with key stakeholders including Principals, Directors, Deans, Placement Cells and Training & Placement Officers to establish long-term collaborations, MoUs, and ecosystem partnerships.
  • Drive student acquisition, revenue growth, brand visibility, internships opportunities through institutional partnerships while positioning Cloud Counselage as preferred industry partners.

B2B Revenue Growth

  • Develop and execute strategies to generate enterprise revenue opportunities.
  • Build relationships with corporates, educational institutions, government bodies, industry associations, and strategic partners.
  • Drive partnerships for consulting, talent solutions, branding, workforce transformation, skilling, and innovation initiatives.
  • Negotiate and close commercial agreements that contribute to sustainable revenue growth.

B2C Revenue Growth

  • Support revenue generation across learning, entrepreneurship, mentoring, and career acceleration programs.
  • Develop marketing and partnership strategies to increase enrolments, engagement, and customer lifetime value.
  • Identify and execute new monetisation opportunities within the ecosystem.

C. Investor Relations & Fundraisingย 

  • Actively contribute to fundraising initiatives across angel investors, venture capital firms, family offices, strategic investors, and institutional partners.
  • Assist in investor outreach, relationship management, follow-ups, and deal progression.
  • Support the development of investment collaterals, pitch decks, market positioning, and fundraising narratives.
  • Participate in investor meetings, startup events, demo days, and networking forums to build strategic investor relationships.
  • Help position Cloud Counselage as a compelling investment opportunity within the global startup ecosystem.


D. Business Operations & Organizational Leadership
Strategic Leadership

  • Collaborate with fellow Co-Founders to define the company's vision, mission, strategic priorities, and growth roadmap.
  • Contribute to corporate strategy, business planning, governance, and execution.
  • Drive innovation, scalability, and operational excellence across the organization.

Team Building & Leadership

  • Recruit, mentor, and lead high-performing marketing and growth teams.
  • Foster a culture of ownership, accountability, collaboration, and continuous learning.
  • Build systems, processes, and performance frameworks to enable scale.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with Product, Technology, Sales, HR, Finance, and Operations teams to align business objectives and execution priorities.
  • Ensure marketing initiatives support broader organizational growth and business goals.


E. Mentorship & Ecosystem Contribution (Industry Academia Community - IAC)

  • Mentor students, professionals, entrepreneurs, interns, and community members within the Industry Academia Community (IAC).
  • Share domain expertise, market insights, growth strategies, and practical business knowledge.
  • Participate in webinars, workshops, events, panel discussions, mentoring sessions, and community initiatives.
  • Contribute towards the mission of reducing unemployability and empowering future-ready talent globally.



REQUIREMENTS:

  • Minimum investment of INR 18 Lakhs in Cloud Counselage Pvt. Ltd.
  • Proven leadership experience in Marketing, Growth, Brand Strategy, Business Development, or Revenue Growth functions.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to operate in a high-growth startup environment.
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing, performance marketing, community-led growth, brand building, and customer acquisition.
  • Experience in B2B and/or B2C business models.
  • Strong network across corporates, investors, founders, ecosystem partners, media, or industry associations is preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to build, scale, and lead teams.
  • Passion for innovation, employability, entrepreneurship, AI, consulting, and social impact.


Co-Founder Investment & Commitment

Minimum investment of INR 18 Lakhs from the Co-Founder is sought to ensure ownership-level commitment and long-term alignment with the company's vision and social mission. We are building a core founding team from the ground up, comprising Co-Founders who deeply believe in the vision and resonate with the social cause we are committed to.

Post institutional funding, each Co-Founder will be expected to build and lead their respective verticals top-down, scaling teams of at least 10,000 professionals over the next three years through our Industry Academia Community (IAC), PAN India and globally.


COMPENSATION:

  • As per Indian startup (valuation/stage market benchmarks). Deferred compensation structure during probation.
  • Co-Founder ESOPS
  • 3% to 5% incentives of realised business value for Business & Funding raised for Company as per the applicable limited-period incentive scheme:

    For clarity only:
    a) For a B2C ticket size of โ‚น18,00,000, the Co-Founder shall earn โ‚น54,000 as incentive at 3%.
    b) For 2 B2C ticket sizes of โ‚น18,00,000, the Co-Founder๏ปฟ shall earn โ‚น1,80,000 as incentive at 5%.
    c) For a B2B ticket size of โ‚น1,50,00,000, the Co-Founder๏ปฟ shall earn โ‚น4,50,000 as incentive at 3%.
    d) For 2 B2B ticket size of โ‚น1,50,00,000, the Co-Founder๏ปฟ shall earn โ‚น15,00,000 as incentive at 5%.
