Practice Manager – Outpatient Clinic
Full-Time | Exempt
Starting Pay: $36.00/hour (commensurate with experience)
We are seeking a hands-on, highly organized, and mission-driven Practice Manager to lead the daily operations of our outpatient primary care clinic, as well as our expanding infusion and wellness services. This role is ideal for a proactive leader who thrives in a patient-centered environment and is passionate about improving care delivery in a rural community setting.
What You'll Do
- Oversee day-to-day clinic operations and optimize patient flow
- Supervise clinical and administrative staff, including MAs/LPNs, front desk, and scheduling teams
- Manage staff scheduling, onboarding, training, and performance evaluations
- Support providers by improving workflows and ensuring adequate resources
- Monitor and improve key metrics such as productivity, patient access, and quality outcomes
- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards (DOH, CMS, OSHA, HIPAA)
- Collaborate with billing teams to improve charge capture and reduce claim denials
- Lead initiatives to enhance the patient experience
- Support the development and implementation of new service lines, including infusion and wellness programs
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, Nursing, or a related field
- 3+ years of healthcare management or supervisory experience
- Strong understanding of outpatient clinic operations and patient flow
- Working knowledge of medical billing, coding, and payer requirements
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Experience with Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems
